Mountain Biking by definition is a non-organized, at your own risk activity. Gaining experience is invaluable and an online course cannot completely provide the required knowledge you need to guarantee your safety. Our goal is to make you a better, well-rounded mountain biker, a better teammate, and more educated rider.
IAN HUGHES' BIOGRAPHY
With a lifetime career in MTB coaching, Ian, our GOLH Mountain Biking pro instructor, will help you progress like never before!
Ian is a NCCP Master Coach - Level IV, and Learning Facilitator - Level III, at the National Coaches Certification Program. He is a PMBI (Professional Mountain Bike Instructor) Course Conductor and Level II Instructor for the program. Former coach to athletes on the National MTB Olympic Team – Cycling Canada, Ian holds a B.A in Kinesiology and Sports Science. Lastly, Ian has dedicated his life to coaching MTB to beginners, experts and even UCI World Champions. He's a proud family man and loves what he does. It transpires in his GOLH MTB course and he will surely get you stoked.

Progress like never before! Build your foundation. Develop your skills and learn how to do the perfect turn. In this course, Coach Ian Hugues will demonstrate everything you need to do to safely become proficient on your mountain bike. This course is for riders of all levels. There is something for everyone.
- Preparation, conditioning and wellness
Each section has videos to help you progress like never before and learn at your own pace. Practice the teachings, and apply yourself as you enjoy your time out on your bike.
Follow Ian's recommended progression, and make sure to start with the Fundamentals.
Fundamentals are for every rider, from beginner to expert. You will (re)learn what creates the proper body position, bike movements and bike kinesthetics in these lessons.
After that, you can jump from video to video in the order you want.
